We found our Valentine's Giveaway Winner!
At the beginning of February, we launched our biggest ever competition. We had so much fun with this giveaway, and have absolutely loved meeting so many new friends from it.
One of the things that really blew me away the most was the generosity of the businesses that we got to work with on this. Although we've been running The Kitty Caller for almost seven years now, we have been quite a local business in our lovely village of Chapel Allerton... so venturing into the world of selling products has been a whole new experience.
We got the chance to meet and talk with some fabulous small business owners, for which I'm so grateful. It felt like the biggest 'pinch me' moment when they signed up to be a part of my Valentine's giveaway idea.
So why a hamper giveaway? Well, its been a super tough year for everyone. The pandemic has been a really hard period of time to navigate and we all miss our friends and family terribly. The one constant I think we can all agree on, is what a huge emotional support system our furry feline companions have been to us all.
I thought it would be wonderful to give a lucky household the chance to have a cosy night in with their feline pal and share a hamper full of goodies with their kitties. Luckily the nine other businesses we collaborated with completely agreed. :)
For the hoomans - we had a cashmere scarf from Rebel & Rose, a cat themed mug designed by the Arthouse Charity & a cat curler bookmark from Chirpy Store, freshly baked scones and jam from Little Yorkshire Scone Co and a voucher for a tray of yummy brownies from Sunshine Bakery. For the kitties we had a courage themed bowtie from Hiro + Wolf, 12 sachets of cat food from Blink, a crunchie Valentine's treat box from Chicco's Delights Pet Food, delicious sprats from Chompo's Treats, a cat nip sardine's tin cat toy from Ordinary Octopus and of course, an exclusive set of pink Snowflake food & treat bowls from our signature homeware collection.
I was overjoyed to deliver the hamper to the lucky winners, Rob, Richard & Margo. We've been kitty calling on Margo for quite a few years and so it was fab to be able to see them for a doorstep hamper handover. Talk about the warm and fuzzies ;)
Its given me to biggest sense of pride to have put this giveaway together, and I sure can't wait for the next one!!
Thank you for reading.
